Introduction
Program History
The department of Harbor and River engineering was established in 1950. The master degree and the doctoral degree programs were established in 1978 and 1992, respectively. In 1993, the department started to operate with four academic divisions, which include the Ocean Engineering, the Structural Engineering, the Water Reservation and Environmental Engineering and the Geotechnical engineering divisions. Furthermore, the master degree program for part-time students started in 1999.
